I like working on products where there’s a lot to understand: how a lab runs an experiment, how a bank advisor chooses whom to call, or how a shipment gets planned. Getting to know the people doing that work is one of my favourite parts of design.

Over the past ten years, I’ve worked as the only designer and led a design team, taking products from early ideas through launch and improving them once people started using them. I enjoy working through the details with engineers and staying involved as the design becomes a working product.

I’m based in Porto. Alongside my product work, I teach and mentor designers. Away from the screen, I’m often playing tabletop role-playing games or heading out for a hike.
